The workshops and the stores of the Daigo lacquer are in Daigo, so you can inspect and experience Daigo lacquerware.

Nishinouchi Washi has been made in the same method for 800 years or more. Mitsukuni Mito used it for the compilation of "Dai Nihonshi(Great History of Japan)". Since it is very tough and high quality, Nishinouchi Washi is used for wallpapers and interior goods in recent years.

Makabe Dolls' Festival is the traditional Girl's Festival performed for one month from February to March every year. The town is filled with a festival mood, in each house, the best dolls for the Girls' Festival are displayed, and they are waiting for you to come. Ryujin bungee jumping
